Project Overview
Concerns were raised by the maintainer on the excessive track deterioration of the newly constructed tram stop.
Novus Rail were commissioned by Wilde Consulting Engineers to conduct various surveys and assess the results against the approved from construction design.
Locations
Victoria Tram Stop, with 3nr through lines and 4nr complex S&C layouts including a scissors crossover, fixed diamond layout and standard crossovers.
Services Undertaken
A complete detailed survey of the tram stop was undertaken including topographical surveying, platform gauging, track condition examination and OLE heights and staggers.
The results were then reviewed against the approved for construction design the new tram was built against to determine if construction issues had led to the degradation of whether it was inherent design issues.
Our team provided a comprehensive report of the station outlining any and all issues found along with a projected lifespan of the depot in it’s current condition.
